Care Tips

  1. Avoid empty cuts: Reduces wear and extends blade life.
  2. Prevent drops or impact: If dropped, inspect before using again to avoid further damage.
  3. Use for hair only: Don’t cut paper, plastic, or other materials.

Daily Maintenance

  1. Wipe Clean: Use a soft, dry cloth to thoroughly wipe down the entire scissor after each use, especially to remove hair, moisture, or chemical residues.
  2. Apply Oil: Place a drop of shear oil at the pivot screw where the blades meet. Open and close the shears several times to remove debris. Wipe again to prevent buildup and rust. Regular oiling helps protect the edge and ensures longevity.
  3. Check the Motion: After cleaning and oiling, test the opening and closing action. It should feel smooth and light. Wipe off any excess oil to avoid slippage or residue.
